First Grade

Liana Pavlakovich, Beth Smith and Allison Wingert

We are excited to introduce the three amazing teachers who make up our First Grade Team.

  • Beth Smith has been a Timberwolf for five years. Beth is a world traveler. She has even taught in Peru and China. She taught primary grades in Sedalia and has taught Kindergarten and  first grade here. Beth is a lab classroom teacher for thinking strategies and provides great professional development for teachers here, as well as being the RTI lead, here at Pioneer. In her spare time, Beth loves spending time with her husband, her fur baby-Milo, and going to Nuggets and Bronco games galore!

Ally Wingert is a first year Timberwolf.  Prior to teaching at Pioneer, Ally lived in St. Louis where she taught in St. Louis Public Schools as a first and second grade teacher for 4 years. She was born and raised in Ozark, Missouri before heading to Fulton, MO for college where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education.  She recently moved to Colorado with her fiance where they are building a house together!

In her free time, Ally loves spending time with friends and family exploring new restaurants and experiences in Denver.  She also enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and anything outdoors!  Ally is an avid reader and is always looking for new book recommendations.

Liana Pavlakovich (also known as Mrs. P) is a first year Timberwolf. This is her ninth year teaching first grade. She is excited to be teaching closer to home. She has experience teaching preschool, first grade, second grade and fifth grade. She grew up in Denver and lived with her mom, and many family members nearby. She lives in Parker with her husband Luke, 5 year old son named Hunter and 2 year old son named Zachary. She likes to go to The Zoo, Bronco games, read, paint, do crafts, exercise, and spend time with her family.
